Dive into the workings of the new Supreme Court Rule on Collaborative Family Law by hearing from a financial neutral and two collaborative family lawyers. Learn some tips about the collaborative practice and which type of client would benefit from this ADR process.

SESSION FOUR: ATTORNEYS FEES, ETHICS AND AMENDMENTS TO PROPERTY & ALIMONY STATUTES

Family law attorneys will have an in depth look at the amendments to the property and alimony statutes and how they now affect attorney fees and suit expenses awarded in divorce and legal separation cases. Discussions of the relevant cases and rules will help the attorneys comply with their ethical obligations. Lawyers will receive some helpful tips to ensure payment.
