. This annual event takes place every winter in Scottsdale and has been described as one of the best places to buy art in Arizona. Over 100 interactive studios will feature the work of local and national artists. Visitors can also watch artists create masterpieces live and learn about their techniques. You’ll find a wide range of styles, from traditional paintings to contemporary sculpting. Come and enjoy a vibrant celebration. Engage with artists. Eat Hot Dogs and Listen to Jazz at the Same Time! Enjoy hotdogs and jazz on the last Saturday of each month at The Nash. The event begins at 11:00am. This is a great time to have a family hot dog lunch! Admission is free, so bring as many friends along as you like. Live music is always a great experience because you can see the musicians perform right in front of your eyes. It’s a great way to teach your children or grandchildren about music, and how jazz combines different styles to create a sound full of surprises, just like life.
Sip Some Beer or Wine! The
Arizona wine festival
will take place on January 25th and 26, from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. Visit Heritage Square to sample wine from 20 local wineries. You prefer beer? Beer will also be available! Wine tickets range between $30-$45, and include ten tickets for tastings with your commemorative glass. Beer tastings cost $15 for ten samples. While you sip, visit local vendors and artists. Then stop at a food truck for a bite. This would be a wonderful date with your special someone.
