Polsinelli touts ‘meteoric rise’ in revenue ranking as it adds 20-plus partners from competitor

Polsinelli is opening a Philadelphia office with more than 20 partners from Holland & Knight.
“When the dust settles,” Law.com reports, “the total size of the group move could be much larger than 20 partners, as other partners, counsel and associates potentially join them, including in other cities.”
According to a July 23 press release from Polsinelli, the Philadelphia location will be the 24th office for Polsinelli and the third new office this year, “further underscoring the firm’s meteoric rise in the Am Law 100.”
The law firm has jumped from No. 113 in Am Law’s rankings of gross revenue in 2013 to No. 60 this year.
The partner acquisition will create one of the premier practices for executive compensation and employee stock ownership plans in the country, the firm said.
