Patterson Intellectual Property Law is Seeking an Associate – IPWatchdog.com
Patterson Intellectual Property Law, P.C. is seeking to hire associates with 1-5 years of experience in Intellectual Property law with specific experience in electrical engineering, computer science, software, or related industries. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Nashville, TN. Patterson is proactive in flexible arrangements for office time and working from home.
Qualifications Required and Preferred:
- The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or an adjacent discipline.
- Must be admitted to practice before the USPTO.
- The ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively in oral and written form is required.
- Advanced writing, comprehensive technical reading, communication, and research skills are required.
- Experience in client portfolio management, performing and conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate searches, and rendering opinions regarding validity, infringement, and enforceability is preferred.
- Experience related to software patent prosecution and litigation is helpful.
- A strong work ethic and excellent leadership skills will add to your success on our team.
