US Inventor is calling for inventors and others to join them on Tuesday at the Capitol South Metro Station, near the corner of “C” Street SE and First Street SE, by 9:00am for a rally to voice their opposition to naming Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) as Chair of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee of the Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet this week.

Reggie Duncan, an alumnus of the USPTO’s National Summer Teacher Institute (NSTI), will share his experience as an educator in STEM. Formerly a math and science teacher for 14 years, Duncan is now an education program specialist at the USPTO’s Office of Education. The Chairman of this Committee Senator Joe Manchin will begin this hearing with opening comments on Infrastructure and Jobs Act, which was passed in 2021. The intention of the legislation was to inject the economy with $550 million of additional spending and create jobs by repairing infrastructure in the country.
