Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris, right, and running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is pictured at an August 10 campaign rally in Las Vegas. In an interview with NPR, lawyer Jeremy Green Eche of New York, 36, proclaimed that he was the GOAT, or the greatest of all times, after he sold a domain name HarrisWalz.com for $15,000 to a supporter Kamala Harris’s vice president. According to the Associated Press, he paid $8.99 in 2020 for the domain and renewed it every year. But it’s not his only Harris domain. CBS News reports that Eche owns 60 domains, including Democratic and Republican candidates. He said he has “a bunch of Gretchen Whitmer domains, Walz domains and Nikki Haley domains.”
Eche’s foresight also paid off in 2016, when he sold ClintonKaine.com for $15,000 to an anonymous buyer who turned out to be a campaign worker for former President Donald Trump. According to USA Today, the Trump campaign used the site to post negative news regarding Democratic candidates. The Harris supporter that bought HarrisWalz.com is just a “random” man who didn’t wish the Trump campaign to purchase the domain name. The website currently redirects visitors to KamalaHarris.com.
Eche sells his domain names through a marketplace for registered trademarks called Communer. It’s his own site.
