Free Bankruptcy Consultations in Minneapolis, Minnesota

When you are filing for bankruptcy or in any financial predicament, you don’t want to pay for a consultation to see your options. At LifeBack Law, we offer free bankruptcy consultations. Typically, they are done by phone, Zoom, in-person, FaceTime or Skype. These consultations take about a half hour to an hour, and you will receive advice from a bankruptcy attorney.

During the free consultations, the attorney will go through about 10 to 20 minutes of questions for you to get a feel for assets, income, and debts. The rest of the consultation will go through bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy options.

For the consultation you should not need anything on hand with you, except to have an idea about debts, income, and assets. For example, if you own a home, it will be helpful to know how much the mortgage balance is (if you have one), what the home is worth, and whether or not the mortgage payments are current. Same with other secured assets. As another example, if you are employed, it is helpful to the attorney you are speaking with if you can discuss your income- like hourly wage or salary.

Typically, consultations are only about thirty minutes to an hour, but if more are needed for a complex case or other questions, you may have. Generally, we will conduct more than one before moving forward with the next steps.

All the attorneys at LifeBack Law are happy to answer questions during your consultation and throughout your bankruptcy case with us.
