Berkeley Law & Technology Group, LLP is a law firm specializing in intellectual property. We are seeking a Patent Agent licensed to practice before the USPTO.

This can be a full-time or part-time position. Successful candidates are welcome to work remotely or join one of our offices. Successful candidates can set their own hours and work location (work/life balance), and work at their pace (within guidelines). Competitive percentage models are offered.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role will focus on preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications and oversight of preparation and prosecution of patent applications outside the U.S.
Qualifications Required & Preferred:
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, strong academic credentials, and a solid engineering background. We prefer an electrical engineering or computer science background (hardware/software) and a minimum of 5+ years of experience with drafting and prosecuting hardware and software patent applications. Experience with both utility and design applications is preferred.
