Smith Attends Tennessee CLE Commission Meeting

This is Smith’s first in-person Commission meeting since his appointment by the Tennessee Supreme Court, effective January 1, 2025. Smith attended his first in-person meeting of the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education (CLE) since his appointment to the Commission by Tennessee Supreme Court effective January 1, 2025. Meetings are crucial for shaping CLE policies, reviewing compliance procedures, as well as ensuring excellence in legal education in the state. “The in-person format allowed for thoughtful discussion and collaboration on how we can continue to strengthen CLE standards in Tennessee.”

Smith joins a dedicated group of professionals appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court, serving three-year terms with the opportunity for reappointment. The Commission is supported by Supreme Court liaison Justice Mary Wagner of Memphis.
