Tampa Student Loan and Bankruptcy Lawyer Blog — January 14, 2020

We hear that the results of the IDR count are being posted on the studentaid.gov website as of last night. Not all loans have been processed yet, but the majority of the processing for the adjustment has been completed. This will be rolled out to everyone in the next few weeks. This recount is important for those who have Direct loans or former FFEL loan consolidations before June 30, 2024. You will now receive IDR credit in lieu of months or years of forbearance or deferment. We’ve blogged extensively about this Recount — and the last batch was scheduled for this January.
