Great news about the IDR Audit/Recount. Bonnie Latreille, student loan ombudsman, said that the Department of Education is almost finished processing the One-Time account adjustment and it should be completed very soon. Stay tuned. This IDR recount will be very important to many people because you can now get credit for periods prior to Direct Consolidation Loans that were previously lost. This is another 4.5 years. No more loans!
